Christina Rideout

Christina began to perform and train as an actress at the age of 7. Acting is one of the great passions of her life. She performed first in school productions, the Tallahassee Children's’ Theatre (under the direction of Gillian Plescia), Tallahassee Community Theatre, Florida State University (where she played Joe in “A Day in the Death of Joe Egg” opposite Christine Lahti) and she starred in several local TV commercials.

Her family moved to Southern California where she continued to perform in Jr. and Sr. High School productions and afterward she earned her BFA from USC. The USC program was a conservatory style program under the direction of Dr. William Duncan Ross. Christina’s class mates included Forest Whitaker, Anthony Edwards, and Ally Sheedy to name but a few of the talented actors she has had the good fortune to share the stage with there. She worked for some time with Meridian Theatre and Academy before marrying and having three children.

She returned to the stage with the Canyon Theatre Guild, a community theatre, and the REPertory East Playhouse (an Equity Waver theatre). She also resumed her studies, focusing on camera technique, with Deke Anderson and Ted Prior of Next Level Acting, Valerie Landsburg of Whole Acting as well as REEL PROS. Christina is a member of both SAG and AEA.

In addition to her considerable passion for acting, Christina is an ordained minister and has a bachelor’s degree from the Healing Light Center Church. She has worked in Energy Medicine for 20 years.

She has combined her two passions, for acting and energy medicine, in her original TV series, “Medicine Ways”. You can check out the web site for series at www.MedicineWays.tv.
